Court Sponsorship Salesperson

Commission-based - 20% of sales. 

The Court Sponsorships Salesperson is responsible for sales and implementation of court sponsorships at Ladera Sports Center (LSC).  This individual will manage, supervise and coordinate all activities regarding court sponsorships to generate revenue and reach budget goals for the facility.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage court sponsorship plans focused on growing court sponsorships across industries and sectors.

  • Work across the organization to conceptualize and develop packages for court sponsorship, and execute revenue-generating opportunities to drive incremental revenue for the organization.

  • Provide timely responses to prospects and existing sponsor and partner requests, and work in a collaborative manner with sponsors and partners to deepen a relationship with LSC. 

  • Work with marketing staff and colleagues to create customized content or presentations as sales collateral for use in court sponsorship presentations, in accordance with LSC ethics, branding, and other guidelines.


·         Minimum of three years in sales and/or marketing experience

·         Candidate should be extremely organized and a self-starter  

·         Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

·         Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

·         Must have experience developing marketing plans, generating new business and managing budgets

·         Sports knowledge or experience is a plus

·         Strong customer service background

·         Entrepreneurial spirit

Assistant Facility Manager

The Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for managing the daily operation of the LSC facility. This position oversees the closing and operations of the facility, provides oversight and assistance to the café, and handles scheduling requests, changes and updates for the facility.

Compensation: $18/hr

Days/Hours: 3-10 pm (Mon-Fri)

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees the daily opening of the facility to make ready and available for customer use

  • Sets up courts for scheduled events including games and/or train continuing sessions

  • Move, set up, and store training equipment as needed

  • Take phone calls and review online requests for scheduling of the facility

  • Have mastery of the facilities scheduling software to be comfortable and capable of adding reservations, changing reservations or cancelling reservations

  • Review, prepare and post facility schedule on designated monitors and message boards

  • Be available for and handle customer questions and requests to the best of ability

  • Lead responsibility for ensuring cleanliness and safety of the facility.

  • Regularly inspect the entire site, including gym, café, restrooms, parking lot, eating area, staircase, and entry way, to make sure conditions are safe

  • Report any safety concerns to the President

  • Make best efforts to repair or fix safety issues if possible, if not able to fix, set up boundary around the issue

  • Regularly inspect the entire facility, including gym, café, restrooms, parking lot, eating area, staircase, and entry way, to make sure they are clean

  • Inspect facility closely in the morning to ensure night cleaning was done appropriately

  • Clean up spilt liquids, papers, or trash, including restrooms and café

  • For serious messes contact cleaning service to come and address immediately

  • Work with Audio Visual team on promoting, selling and delivering DVD’s to customers

  • Pick up and store personal items left by customers

  • Monitor and oversee lost and found materials

  • Manages the receiving function of delivers by outside vendors, including those for the café

Supervisory Responsibility: This position may involve the supervision of other employees if so directed by the President or GM.

Work Environment: Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and gymnasium environments and is mostly indoors.

All-Star Café Waiter / Waitress / Cashier

We are looking for a skilled Waiter or Waitress to take orders and deliver food and beverages to our customers. The right All-Star Café staff member uplifts the dining experience for customers. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.

Café staff responsibilities include greeting and serving customers, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties and collecting the bill. If you are able to perform well in fast-paced environments, we’d like to meet you!

Parking Attendant

We are looking for responsible parking attendants who will be in charge of directing vehicles where to park and taking payments for vehicles during busy events at the Ladera Sports Center.


We are looking for high energy and customer service-oriented people to fill this role on our team. Admissions staff will be the face of our sports center and are responsible for making the patrons in the facility feel welcomed and appreciated. Admissions employees will also inform our guests of any rules that we have such as no outside food or drink in the facility.


We are looking for a detail-oriented, hardworking, and caring staff member who will take pride in maintaining not only our courts, but our facility as a whole. This is an essential role to our team as it is vital to maintaining our reputation and our promise to our customers to provide a safe, clean, and friendly environment for all events from birthday parties to weekend tournaments.
